New Range Rover | Matrix Black Ceramic Coating Video
It is best to get your car ceramic coated when it is brand new, before it can pick up any scratches and wash marks, and this one is immaculate.
The car was given a touchless wash to get it clean without introducing new wash marks, but it was chemically decontaminated to remove any contaminants like rail dust.
The car is then given a light machine polish, just to make it that much shinier, before being washed with alcohol to remove any traces of wax or polishing compound. At this point, the car is already incredibly shiny even before we add the protection.
The car is then coated in ceramic, in this case Matrix Black. It takes a few hours to cure so that it's ready to drive, and fully cures in around a week, over which time it gets shinier.
