Porsche Carrera 4S Matrix Black Ceramic Coating Video
This Porsche Carrera 4S came in for an 8-year Matrix Black ceramic coating and for some extra work on the glass, giving it that new car feeling.
The car had been resprayed at some point, and it wasn't a particularly good job. The paintwork on the roof was a little lumpy, giving an effect called orange peel. So it had to be wet sanded to smooth it out. A very fine grade of sandpaper is used on a machine. This is sometimes called 'flat and polish'.
With the paintwork polished, a tough layer of Matrix Black Ceramic Coating was applied.
