You can see the wear marks at the beginning of this video, caused by the hood folding while it is dirty.
If this wear is allowed to continue, it will wear right through, so it is important to keep your roof clean.
While we cannot remove the wear marks, giving the roof a good clean and re-weatherproofing the rest of the hood darkens it up and makes them less noticeable. I am sure you can agree, this is a huge improvement.
The drains were flushed out to prevent leaks and the rubbers conditioned to ensure everything fits into place and is water tight.
The car was treated with a two-year weatherproof coating and in addition the car was cleaned on the outside and given a coat of wax.
