Our exterior detail covers everything the paintwork needs: decontamination, clay bar treatment and a protective finish, so the results last, not just until the next rain shower.
Because New Again is a coatings specialist, this detail service is designed to serve as a base for applying a polymer sealant or ceramic coating because we believe every car should have paint protection. Our two stage polishing system comes as standard, this is enough to create a high shine to the majority of cars, however if your car has deeper scratches or areas of concern, these services can be selected from the Paintwork Correction menu. For older cars, we can carry out full car paint restoration, polishing the car until it's like new.
The car is cleaned with clay, a sticky block which removes light fallout such as metallic particles from brake disks and exhaust. Then the car is machine polished using a medium compound to remove micro-scratches, then finished with a fine polish to give a mirror - smooth surface. For both stages, we use a dual-action machine polisher which oscillates to prevent buffer marks. The panel is then cleaned with alcohol to remove any oils and silicones from the polish so that your paintwork is ready to accept a paint protection coating.
Now that we have the basics covered, we can tailor this service to suit the particular needs of your vehicle, either by choosing a quality polymer sealant or ceramic coating.

For Newer Cars. Perfect for cars that are only a few years old and have been well looked after. Our 2-stage polish gently removes light swirl marks, surface hazing, and minor wash-induced marring. It restores gloss, enhances clarity, and preps the paint for ceramic or graphene coatings -- ideal when your paint is already in good shape and just needs that finishing touch.
