A three year ceramic glass coating and vehicle protection package, which can be extended with periodical one year top-ups.
Talk to us Talk to usThe entry tier in the Matrix Ceramics range - proven 9H ceramic with the same hydrophobic technology as Matrix Black, applied in a single coat. Suited to newer cars where preparation time is shorter and a 3-year commitment makes more financial sense than an 8-year one. 3-year warranty.
Scores are our team’s subjective assessments, based on direct workshop experience. They reflect how each coating compares against the others in our range — not against any external standard.
Matrix Blue is our most popular coating and the one the team recommends most. It carries the same 9H ceramic technology and hydrophobic finish as Matrix Black, applied in a single coat with a 3-year warranty -- the right balance of performance and commitment for most customers. If you change your car every few years, or you want genuine ceramic protection without locking in an 8-year spend, this is it.
Permanent coatings regularly outlast their official guarantees; we’ve seen Matrix Blue well beyond its three-year mark still performing well. Use Matrix Recharge periodically to refresh the gloss and extend the life further -- there’s no reason a well-maintained application shouldn’t see you through several more years.
Backed by our own no-fuss, 3-year transferable guarantee. See our full guarantee.
Matrix Blue suits the customer who wants proven ceramic quality without the 8-year commitment. It’s particularly well-suited to newer cars -- less preparation needed, lower price, and if you’re likely to change the car before eight years are up anyway, the maths works in your favour. The coating itself is the same chemistry as Matrix Black; the difference is the warranty period and the price.
Matrix Blue uses the same generation ceramic technology as Matrix Black -- a hard, clear SiO2 layer that bonds chemically to the paint surface, rated 9H on the pencil hardness scale. It resists micro-scratches from washing and road grime, and it won’t crack, burn off or peel. As one RS owner put it: “the coating is harder than the paint, and it makes it resilient to all those horrible scratches.” At any point you can bring the car back to us and we’ll apply a Recharge coat to rejuvenate the surface and add another year of coverage. Autosmart manufacture it in the UK; we apply it as trained professionals.
Prices split by preparation. New cars under 400 miles need detailing and panel prep only. Used cars need at minimum a two-stage machine polish first -- that preparation is included and reflected in the price.
For used cars. Price includes double machine-polish, clay bar decontamination, exterior detail, panel preparation, and a durable coat of Matrix.

Amazing work done by Matt, Alfie and the team at New Again. I had a 3 year ceramic coating and it was hard to believe the paint on a new car could look even better. Highly recommended them and will be using them again at some point without a doubt. Thank you
By far our most popular coating - it could be the right choice for you.

Brilliant! describes my car paintwork now that I've had a Matrix Blue ceramic treatment @ New Again. It also describes the service these great guys delivered.

3 weeks on, I haven't washed the car and it's still gleaming - I can't stop looking at the paintwork and it's really turning heads!
Really pleased with the results for my Aston Martin, detailing work was outstanding, would definitely recommend.
I had the Matrix Blue ceramic coating applied together with interior leather Nano protection. The results look stunning and first class service from James, Tom and the New Again Team.
No. The “Blue” is just the product name. Matrix Blue can be applied to any colour, including black, white and metallics. Choose it for performance, not the colour on the label.
In our experience, paint sealants regularly outlast their official guarantees -- often two or three times longer with normal care. Three years is the warranty floor, not the ceiling. Performance tapers gradually but protection remains well beyond that. Use Matrix Recharge periodically to refresh the gloss, and there’s no reason the coating shouldn’t last many years further.
Typically about half as often as before. Dirt sticks less, so wash when it looks like it needs it. For best results, use a self-service pressure washer and pH-neutral shampoo, then dry with a clean microfibre.
Better than waxes or sealants, yes -- but nothing is bulletproof. Bird mess is highly corrosive. A coating buys you extra time and makes removal easier, but clean it off as soon as you spot it.

All our ceramic coating and paint sealant packages include a thorough 2-stage machine polish, along with a clay-bar treatment and panel preparation to ensure the surface is clean and smooth. This is ideal for newer cars or well-maintained paintwork. If your car needs a bit more attention, upgrading to a 4-stage or even a full 6-stage correction is easy -- we’ll guide you through the best option for your vehicle’s condition.
| Machine Polish Upgrade | Prices |
|---|---|
| 4-Stage Machine Polish Upgrade | £195.00 |
| For moderately aged cars showing signs of age or moderate neglect. Our 4-stage system removes deeper swirl marks, oxidation, light scratches, and dullness. It restores depth and clarity to tired paintwork without the full intensity of a complete restoration. | |
| 6-Stage Machine Polish Upgrade | £345.00 |
| For older or neglected cars with heavily weathered, scratched, or oxidised paint. Starting with a heavy compound to level down deep scratches and heavy swirling, we progressively refine the finish through six stages to restore colour, depth, and mirror-like clarity. |
