New Car Paint Protection
Car paint sealants are best applied when the car is brand new, before it can collect any wash marks and micro scratches. We have two price menus: one for new cars under 400 miles, and one for cars 2-3 years old which will require our two-stage polishing system.

Are you a Gtechniq Accredited Detailer?
No, we aren't. We missed out on the franchise for this area, but we are authorised to apply Crystal Serum Light. While you don't get the official Gtechniq guarantee, we back it with our own 5-year guarantee. We are accredited by Fireball, AutoSmart and Siramik, so you can trust us -- we know how to apply ceramic coatings.
How long do ceramic coatings take to dry?
By the time you collect your car, it will be dry. Most manufacturers advise not to wash it for a week while it cures. We've noticed the finish even improves during that week, so yes -- curing takes about seven days before it's completely hardened.
If it lasts 5 years, what happens after?
The coating is permanent -- it will still be on your car after five years. But constant exposure to the elements means it won't be at peak performance forever. A garaged car lasts longer, and you can always top it up or re-coat if you want to maintain maximum protection.
Is it literally like a sheet of glass?
Not quite. Ceramic coatings are glass-like on a microscopic level, but they're not thick like a lacquer finish on vintage cars. They're nano-coatings, only molecules thick -- yet you can definitely see and feel the difference.
Can I polish it?
No -- we don't recommend polishing a ceramic coating. Polishes are abrasive and meant to remove paint, which will damage the protective layer. With ceramic, your paint is sealed under a silica shield, so there's no need for polish.
