Two coats, two jobs. The base layer is the hard one -- it bonds to the paint and gives Dok Do its 9H+ scratch resistance. The top coat is the shiny, hydrophobic one -- it delivers the depth and the beading. No single-layer coating does both at once. Our 10-year transferable warranty.

What a 10-year ceramic coating actually does
One of the biggest advantages is the hydrophobic effect -- water beads and rolls away, carrying dirt with it. This means your car stays cleaner for longer and is much easier to wash, without the need for constant waxing or polishing.
By preserving the paint’s colour, gloss, and depth, ceramic coatings help maintain your car’s appearance and resale value. It’s a long-term investment in protection, convenience, and that “freshly detailed” look every time you drive.
Backed by Fireball’s 10-year warranty and our own no-fuss, transferable guarantee. See our full guarantee.
Is Dok Do the right coating for you?
Dok Do is for the customer who wants the maximum from a ceramic coating and doesn’t want to revisit the decision. If you’re keeping this car for ten years or more, if it’s high-value and you care about what it’s worth at the other end, or if you simply want the best we offer -- this is it. The dual-layer system means you’re not choosing between hardness and shine. You get both.
Fireball Dok Do Ceramic Sealant
Inspired by the stalwart resilience of its namesake island, Dok Do is engineered to match it. Two coats, two jobs: the base layer bonds hard to the paint; the top coat adds the gloss and the beading. Over 92% SiO2 with titanium dioxide running through both. We apply it as certified Fireball installers -- the process is more involved than a single-layer ceramic, and that’s the point.
What Dok Do delivers
- Exceeds 9H hardness -- the ultra-hard SiO2 base coat gives Dok Do scratch resistance no single-layer ceramic can match.
- Dual-layer system -- hard base coat topped with a glossy, chemical-resistant finish coat. No single-layer coating does both.
- 10-year warranty -- the longest guarantee of any coating we apply, backed by Fireball and our own transferable warranty.

How long does Dok Do last?
Fireball Dok Do with a 10-year warranty - the longest of any coating we apply. In practice, permanent coatings regularly outlast their official guarantees; we’ve seen earlier Fireball products still performing well beyond the original estimate. The dual-layer titanium chemistry bonds at a molecular level, so with reasonable care the coating should see your car through a full ownership cycle and then some.
What makes Dok Do different from other Fireball coatings?
Dok Do is the flagship of the Fireball range. It uses a dual-layer system - a super-hard base coat with over 92% SiO2 plus Titanium Dioxide, topped with a glossy, chemical-resistant finish coat. That titanium addition is what sets it apart: it increases hardness beyond 9H, improves UV resistance, and gives the paint a depth and clarity you don’t get from a single-layer ceramic. The result is the most durable and visually impressive coating in the range.
Does my car need polishing before the coating goes on?
Yes and this is included. Every Dok Do application starts with a 2-stage machine polish and clay-bar decontamination. Ceramic coatings seal whatever is beneath them, so applying one over swirl marks or light scratches locks them in permanently. If your car’s paintwork needs more attention, we offer 4-stage and 6-stage correction upgrades. We’ll assess the paintwork when you bring the car in and recommend the right preparation level.
Can I wash my car normally after a Dok Do coating?
Yes, and you’ll find it noticeably easier. The hydrophobic surface means water and dirt don’t bond to the paint the way they used to -- a rinse removes most contamination before you even pick up a mitt. The one thing to avoid is automated car washes; the brushes and harsh chemicals will degrade the coating over time. A hand wash or contactless rinse is all it takes to keep it looking its best.
