What 2.5% titanium actually does for your paintwork
Most ceramic coatings contain titanium dioxide; Silla+ contains more of it than anything else we apply -- 2.5%+. TiO2 reacts with UV light to break down organic contaminants before they can bond to the surface. Bird muck, pollen, tree sap -- the chemistry starts working on them before you do. On a standard ceramic, those contaminants sit until you wash them off. On Silla+, they’re already degrading.

How long does Silla+ last?
Fireball Silla+ carries a 5-year warranty. In practice, ceramic coatings regularly outlast their official guarantees -- the chemistry doesn’t switch off at the five-year mark. With reasonable care, particularly avoiding automated car washes, you can expect the coating to perform well beyond it.
What makes Silla+ different from other Fireball coatings?
The 2.5%+ TiO2 -- the highest of any coating we apply. That's not just a number: it means more photocatalytic self-cleaning than any other coating in our range. For drivers who face the most from the environment, Silla+ works hardest.
Who is Silla+ best suited for?
Drivers who take a lot from the environment: coastal locations, high-mileage commutes, parking near trees, industrial fallout. If your car is regularly exposed to contamination that a standard ceramic has to sit and wait on, Silla+ is the practical answer.
Will it make my car scratch-proof?
No coating makes paint scratch-proof. Silla+ is glass-hard and significantly more scratch-resistant than unprotected paint, but it sits on top of paint, which is still relatively soft. Think “resistant”, not “proof”.
Does my car need polishing before Silla+ goes on?
Yes, and it’s included. Every Silla+ application starts with a 2-stage machine polish and clay-bar decontamination. Ceramic coatings seal whatever is beneath them, so applying one over swirl marks or light scratches locks them in permanently. If your paintwork needs more attention, we offer 4-stage and 6-stage correction upgrades.
