VW Beetle bronze with tan convertible roof -- visible pressure washer streaks from a domestic machine. Hood cleaned and hydrophobic-coated. Paintwork polished with 3-month spray wax.
A bronze VW Beetle with a tan convertible roof -- a light-coloured combination that shows dirt clearly. There were pressure washer streaks on the hood where someone had got too close with a domestic machine. Domestic pressure washers are high pressure, low volume -- the opposite of our machines, which are high volume and lower pressure. A domestic pressure washer on a convertible roof can cut straight through the fabric or damage the surface fibres. Even a car-specific electric pressure washer should be used carefully and not at close range.
After cleaning and the hydrophobic coating, the wheels were cleaned and the paintwork was polished with a 3-month spray wax. Ready for the beach.
