Concrete Removal
We have over 20 years experience in removing all kind of contamination, and cement splatter is no exception. Wet or dry, we use a chemical process to dissolve the cement, which allows us to wash away the remaining sand and grit without causing scratches to the paintwork.
While we often treat single cars with heavy concrete splatter, it is not unusual to find that cement has splattered over 20+ cars. Depending on the extent of the contamination, some cars can be treated on site or if need be arranged for collection, restoration and delivery.
There is a temptation for customers to try and remove cement and concrete by rubbing it. This frequently causes the additional problem of scratched paintwork, so it is very important to leave this to the professionals. But in cases where scratches have already occurred, we are fully equipped to remove all but the deepest scratches without repainting.
We have a Concrete Removal FAQ on our other website.
Paint Overspray
Modern paints are sophisticated and have exceptional bonding properties, meaning the overspray can be very hard to remove. But over the years we have seen just about everything from modern water-based automotive paints to exterior enamels, road paint to fence paint, varnish to glues and resins -- nothing has beaten us yet!
We can remove overspray and splatter from painted surfaces without affecting the original finish and keeping the warranty intact. We also remove overspray from glass, rubber and plastic without the need for repainting or replacement part, making huge savings over other solutions.
A job we will never forget
A Kia Niro came in with what looked like ordinary fallout -- a few rust spots on the wing. Gary diagnosed the metal particles quickly, but underneath was something else: a hard, plasticky coating, older and cured solid, harder than the paint itself. Acid products dissolved the metal. Solvents barely touched the coating. James used Japanese dry-sand paper -- the kind you use dry so you can actually see what you're removing. Three passes. Multiple products. A buffer machine. "We've never been beaten," Gary told the customer, and they weren't. The car came out looking a million dollars. ~ Gary Wray
