This Audi A3 cabriolet hood had a lot of dirt embedded in the grain, and it looked as if someone had tried to tackle it with a domestic jet wash at some point -- the lighter streaks were a telltale sign. The concern was whether those marks would blend in once the dirt was properly removed. They did.
Hood cleaned with mechanical brushes and hot high-volume rinse. Drains flushed -- one was partially blocked. Rubbers looked dry and were Krytox-treated throughout to restore the seal. 2-year nano-coating applied once the hood was fully dry. Glass cleaned. Courtesy vac through the interior. All the lines in the roof fabric came back clean and even once the dirt was out and the coating was on.
