An Audi A3 cabriolet in for a full roof clean and reproof. The hood had accumulated the usual mix of dirt, moss, and grit in the fabric over time.
The job covered a full mechanical clean, drain flush, Krytox treatment on all the rubbers, and a two-year waterproof nano-coating. The rubbers on a convertible are what creates the seal between the hood and the car body -- they dry out and shrink over time, which is when roofs start to leak. Krytox restores them.
The car also had an exterior detail included, as it always does on roof jobs -- cleaning a convertible hood generates mess across the whole car, and including the exterior detail means everything leaves properly clean rather than just the roof.
