Audi A5 cabriolet roof clean. Fold-line wear marks are permanent -- cleaning removes the grit to stop more damage. Two-year nano-coating, drain flush, Krytox rubbers.
This Audi A5 cabriolet hood had the usual fold-line wear from grit embedded in the fabric. Those dark crease lines are not surface dirt -- they are wear marks in the fibres, and they are permanent. Cleaning the grit out stops them getting worse. The two-year waterproof coating darkens the whole hood uniformly, which reduces the visual contrast between worn and unworn areas.
Along with the clean and coat, we flushed the drainage channels and treated all the rubbers with Krytox to restore their seal. The car also had an exterior wash and wax.
