Mercedes C-Class with mice that entered through the rear air vents. Interior fogged and wiped with Formula 429 (hospital-grade, used in operating theatres). Arches, engine bay, and exterior fully decontaminated. Anti-odour treatment applied.
Mice had got into this Mercedes C-Class through the rear air vents, settled under the rear seat, and made their way into the boot. The car had already been partly stripped by whoever dropped it off before it reached us -- which made confirming the full extent of the contamination trickier, because the usual undisturbed signs were less obvious. There was a suggestion they may have been under the headlining too; we found no clear evidence of that, but the whole car was treated regardless.
We used Formula 429 by Chemspec -- a hospital-grade disinfectant safe enough for use in operating theatres. The entire interior was fogged first to get into all the spaces that a spray or cloth cannot easily reach, then the same product in a spray bottle was used to wipe down every individual surface. Door cards, boot, all interior trim pieces. Windows were included: fat from breath builds on glass and bacteria can accumulate in it, which most people do not think about.
The exterior got the same treatment: arches sprayed thoroughly, under the bonnet decontaminated, all external surfaces wiped down. Everything was logged with a progress video. The car left decontaminated inside and out, with an anti-odour treatment applied and all surfaces clean.
