The problem with this convertible SLK was it was leaking through the roof rubbers.
We will tighten up the retaining screws and use a rubber reviver, and hopefully this will do the trick. Otherwise, a last resort would be a new rubber set from Mercedes.
We have recently done a number of these roofs and there are several related problems which can occur with the rubbers/gaskets and the central roof panels, some of which might not be evident until you start taking the roof apart. The bottom line is that they are prone to leak from the roof.
