Minis are known to have particular problems, namely with some fixing points under the trim around the windscreen.

We would recommend getting these sealed as a matter of course because even if they haven't perished, they almost certainly will before long.

As with many cars, the rear vents are known to perish and that is the case with this Mini, so the bumper will need to be removed so they can be replaced with new ones and sealed in.

All the door rubbers on this vehicle are loose, and this can cause leaks as capillary action causes water to be pulled up under them, it then can get into the welded seams which are usually underneath them. When this happens, there is usually evidence of it in the form of dirty stains and grit under the rubbers. Although we recommend getting them sealed anyway, we are not seeing any evidence of this, except on the driver's door where somebody has installed an after-market earth wire under the rubber. We will need to find a more suitable place to attach this wire.
