This Volkswagen Golf Convertible was found to be leaking from the door cards and the rear air vents, which is fairly normal for cars of this age.
We also found the rubbers that are unique to the convertible model, and which feature drainage channels, were blocked and leaking into the cabin.
Solution
The interior was decontaminated to remove the mould.
The rear bumper and lights were removed, and new air vents were fitted. We replaced the membrane/vapour barriers in the doors. We also gave the hood a refurbish and cleaned and refurbished all the rubbers.
