A pretty Mercedes SLK in for a water leak inspection. We do have a whole section of the site covering the water leaks we have found and fixed, but this car deserved a place in the main vlog as well.
The first part of this video is the report we sent the customer showing where we had found the leak and how we confirmed it. The second is a follow-up showing the car completed and ready for collection. Most of our water leak investigations work this way: find it, document it, agree the fix, carry out the repair, and confirm the result before the car goes back.
We have a range of specialist equipment for diagnosis -- miniature cameras, ultrasound, smoke machines -- but most leaks are found with coloured water and detective work before any of that is needed.
