A brand-new Nissan Leaf for Matrix Black 8-year ceramic coating. Even on a new car, preparation matters: some cars arrive from the showroom with transport damage or blemishes from the delivery process. This one had a few scratches -- a 2-stage polish dealt with them before the coating went on.
The coating needs time to cure, but it is road-ready by the time the car is collected. Gary's observation: we swear cars coated and left overnight look even better the following morning. The chemistry continues curing; the gloss seems to deepen.
