Mercedes AMG convertible: hood clean with drain flush and Krytox, paintwork correction on scuffs and scratches from storage. Machine polish removed most scratches -- better result than expected.
This Mercedes AMG convertible had been parked up and accumulated a fair amount of moss and green growth in the hood fabric. We carried out a full hood clean including all the drainage channels and gutters, and treated the rubbers with Krytox to restore their suppleness and seal.
The car also had some scuffs and scratches on the rear bumper and around the front wing from its time in storage. Rather than a full smart repair, we carried out paintwork correction to make a significant improvement: machine polish removed the majority of the scratches and touch-up paint dealt with the rest. The result was better than expected.
