0:00 Okay, so now on to the last two. We're going to show you these top welds up the top here. So what we're going to do is we're going to put some water on the top of the weld and just make sure that none goes inside the car, which everything seems to be okay at the moment. So if we put loads of water up on this section here, and then what we then want to do is we want to go on the inside, and if we just focus down here, we can start to see the water dropping in past the welded seams.

0:32 So there we go, so that would obviously be another one there, and we can see it dropping in. And if we now come over to the driver's side and simulate the same thing, get me stall. So we're going to simulate the same thing on this side as well. Okay, and then if we quickly jump inside and we look down at this bit here, so we can see that there's evidence of run marks coming down. If we look closely, if we can see without my torch being in the way, we can see that the water is

1:21 running down and then filling up exactly like the other side as well. So there we go, so I believe that's everything we've found so far. Lovely.

Here we are again with the leaky Lexus. Although all the leaks were covered in the previous video, for the sake of being thorough, James will demonstrate the leaking seams.

It must be said that although was may say "the welds have cracked", this is not a safety issue. The welds on modern cars are spot-welded, which isn't waterproof. They waterproof them at the factory with a sealant, which over time can crack, allowing water in.

What is a safety issue, is with water getting into electric and hybrid cars. It goes without saying that water and electricity don't play well together, so if you have an electric car with a leak, promise us you will at least have somebody look at it.
