Because of the freezing weather, we weren't happy with our initial inspection, so we checked again. This time we found a leak on the windscreen.
The windscreen will need to be refitted in order to find what is leaking. It could be a leaking welded seam, or the sealant for the screen could have become unbonded. It is impossible to tell unless the screen is removed so we can see.
As the screen isn't broken, refitting isn't so expensive and whatever we find underneath is likely to be an easy fix. If the screen has recently been refitted, and it turns out to be properly fitted, the company who installed it may be responsible for any windscreen leak repairs.
