BMW M3 Sport graphene coating -- the same car featured in the "can you tell which is which" 1yr review. Wash marks polished off the bonnet before coating. Gary spotted the owner at a jet wash months later; the car still looked stunning.
This BMW M3 Sport had been featured in our "can you tell which is which" graphene review video alongside a Ford Focus estate -- one car freshly coated, one a year old. The BMW was the year-old one. Gary revealed it in that video and the owner was pleased: a year later, the paint still looked like it had been done the previous week.
This video covers the original coating job. The car came in with wash marks across the bonnet from the previous owner's washing routine -- these were removed in the machine polish stage that always precedes the coating. On a black car you cannot afford to skip the polish: even minor swirl marks destroy the finish under any decent light.
A few months after collection, Gary noticed the owner at the jet wash cleaning his car. He stopped for a look. The graphene coating was performing exactly as expected -- still deep, still beading, still looking stunning. The owner was very happy with it.
