Graphene Coating Audi SQ5

Audi SQ5 for graphene coating -- the owner's third car with us. Previous ceramic on wife's car, then his own (neighbour bought it), now this. Ex-demo, clay-decontaminated, machine-buffed, graphene on body and alloys. "Newer than it was when it came out the factory."

The owner of this Audi had been a customer for a while. We had coated his wife's car with ceramic, then coated his own car -- and when he sold that one, his neighbour bought it. So he came back and bought this one, and came straight in. He had not tried graphene yet; this time he wanted whatever we rated most highly, and we told him that was the graphene. That is what it got.

The car was an ex-demo, not brand new, so there was some preparation to do. James clay-decontaminated the paint first -- not traditional clay, but the rubber pad equivalent, which grips and lifts surface contamination without scratching. Then machine-buffed, cleaned with alcohol, and the graphene coating applied to the bodywork and alloys. Gary's comment when it was done: "newer than it was when it came out the factory." That is not an exaggeration on a well-prepared ex-demo.

There was a small scratch on the mirror housing -- a textured surface, not worth attempting to correct. Gary flagged it and moved on. The customer was over the moon. He is quite looking forward to taking it out and driving it.
