New Tesla S: dealer wax removed, two-stage polish, graphene coating applied. Factory process doesn't include polishing -- we make it shinier than when it left the showroom.
A new Tesla S for graphene coating. The factory process does not include polishing -- cars leave the factory with self-levelling clear coat and a dealer wax application. We wash the wax off, run the paint through our two-stage polish system (lighter on a new car), and get it into perfect condition before the coating goes on.
Graphene coating is super-hydrophobic. Rain water sheets off and takes the dirt with it. The car stays cleaner for longer, you wash it about half as often, and each wash introduces fewer scratches because there is less grit to drag across the surface.
