VW Tiguan 2014 Part 1 | Sunroof Leak

This VW Tiguan had already been to a dealership and had the sunroof drainage flushed out, and a replacement screen fitted but the leaks persisted.

There is much discussion on the internet about the issue of leaky Volkswagen and Audi Group vehicles, with numerous videos on YouTube about how to fix the sunroof pipes or modify the connectors.

A follow-up on the previous video shows the car with the seats out and the carpets raised so we can see the water underneath.

We see a lot of Tiguans, and they are known to have problems with the sunroofs leaking. On this car, we initially thought the windscreen leaked.

Upon testing the sunroof, it was found there was no rear drainage, almost certainly because the drainage pipes are blocked with dirt and debris, causing the cassette to fill up.
