We don't always get it right first time and sometimes after we have repaired a leak, a car will come back with water in it.
The first thing we do is check all the work we have already done to make sure it was done properly. This being the case, we need to look for new leaks.
On this car, the leak was difficult to track down, but we eventually discovered a rubber grommet on the rear windscreen wiper was leaking. We don't recall ever seeing this issue before, but we know for next time. And there will probably be a next time as we see a lot of Ford Fiestas as there are so many of them on the road.
The customer will be charged for this additional work, but we decontaminate and dry the car for free.
