Helios Shield

Why it matters

Front ends take a beating no other part of the car sees. Bug residue, tar and grit arrive at speed on the bumper, nose cone, bonnet leading edge and mirror caps, and those are the panels that mark first and get scrubbed hardest. Targeted protection there releases that contamination with far less effort, which cuts the wash marring that repeated scrubbing would otherwise add.

Slickness and gloss on exactly the areas that dull fastest is the visible half of it. The practical appeal is placement: it works alone, over a ceramic coating, or on top of PPF, so it can be added to whatever a car already has rather than replacing it. Concentrating the spend on the panels doing the suffering is a good deal more sensible than treating the whole car to the same specification.
