SEAT Arona end-of-lease with chips and scratches along the passenger side that risked a full-panel respray charge. Chips touched in, scratches polished out. Tyre mismatch front/rear flagged for the owner to check.

This SEAT Arona was going back off lease with chips and scratches along the passenger side. If returned as-is, the combination of damage could have triggered a charge for respray of the entire passenger side -- which is far more expensive than the repairs themselves.

By touching in the paint chips and polishing out the scratches, the passenger side was brought to an acceptable standard. The dents were too small to be chargeable. The windscreen had a chip, but it was within the acceptable size limit.

One thing worth checking: the tyres. This car had different tyres on the front and rear axles. Lease agreements vary on whether this is acceptable -- worth reading the small print before the return date. With the visible damage addressed, the car came in with the inspection completed and a full record of condition that could support any dispute if charges were raised.
