This Porsche has been to us several times. On a previous visit it had Matrix Black applied and today it came in for the Matrix Recharge top-up, which extends the life of the coating and restores the gloss. The car also had its cabriolet roof cleaned and reproofed -- the customer parks under a tree, which means the car collects a lot of bird dropping and organic matter, so the hood needs regular attention. The antifungal agents in the two-year coating help keep the growth under control between cleans.
Headlight polishing was the other job today. Polycarbonate headlights on Porsches are prone to hazing as the factory UV coating wears off. Polishing removes the degraded surface and a ceramic coating on the lens afterwards reinstates the UV protection.
