0:00 OK, so we've got a Ford Fiesta in today, 2009, for the water leak procedure, so we're just going to show you what we've found so far. So we've done the end of the check, so I'll quickly show you what we've found so far. So if I turn my hose on, we've got the hose up the back of the bumper, so it's simulating that it's out in the rain. And then what we've got in the boot area, we've got my little twisty camera here, and we're going in this
0:24 box section. The problem is, we can see here, I can just get that back on now. Okay, so we can see there's two giant holes there which are letting the water in through them holes there. And also if we go down, we can see that there's an air vent there. Now we've got a bit of water coming down from the top end, but it does look like in the middle of that air vent it is leaking. Because obviously we're going to have to take the rear bumper off to fix the holes, and obviously it
0:57 would probably worth doing the rear vents as well. Just to show you on the passenger side. Okay, so this is the passenger side, so we can see the tapes there, and we can see that the bottom ones come unstuck, so this is actually getting water coming in as well. And if you just face down to the air vents. So we can see that we've got water on top of the air vent, but also we've got water in the middle of the air vent.
1:30 So same again, I'd probably advise doing the air vents when we obviously blank off the tape there. So that's what we found on the rear. So then what that would then do is it would then fill up in that box section, it would then work its way out of here, and then it would either split to come it down into your spare wheel holder, or it would then follow this as a guide, and then it would go underneath the back seats.
1:53 And just to show you under here, obviously we've got a couple of holes which have been drilled to obviously get the excess water out. And then once it then comes down past the seats, it will use this as a guide. So we can see that we've got some dirty water here, and we've got lines to say the water has been running down there. And then if we just lift this up and give this a squeeze, we can see that the underlay's completely soaking on the drivers rear. And if I just quickly go into the drivers front as
2:24 well, just to show you that it's travelled all the way up. So we've got a little cubby hole here, and we can see in there that we've got signs of wetness. But if I just give that a squeeze, so we can see that that's wet. And if I just give that squeeze with my hand, so we can see that it's soaking wet under there. So the whole driver's side's wet.
