0:00 So we've got Water Leak Found video on 2009 Ford Kuga. This is a factory screen and this is a common problem with them. We've put some bubbles on the outside of the screen, or you know, the stuff that makes bubbles, and now we're going to make the bubbles. So you can see there, there's the bubbles, so that's air going up in the gaps.
0:22 So the water gets in there and then it usually comes round the outside. It doesn't often drop straight on top of you. So it's all the way along the top now. So that's that. So the water finds its way around to the carpets, and I've got the light here set up to show you that the carpet under there is absolutely sodden. Don't need to see that, but you know there's a lot of water there. And it goes underneath the seat, so we've got to get the seat out to get the carpet up, because it will
0:55 find its way to the rear footwell. Although it's slightly higher on this, it may not have, but usually they do, depending on whether the car's parts are on the flat or not. So now if I go round the other side, I'll show you that it's wet that side. Obviously the water's leaking on both sides, so that's what it does.

It just goes straight over the hole, and unfortunately, eventually the tape comes off and you can see it pouring in. So the vents leak around the housing, they're like a small picture frame, like a similar vent the one on the front, but they also leak in there, and then it finds its way across there behind

So you've got two sides and the vents and the front screen. Is that where we are so far? Yeah. Okay. Put the extra for the welds underneath the scuttler area. Oh right, okay, so we're just going to note that there's two weld areas on this car under the scuttle area, under the screen. We haven't got it apart at the moment, I'm just

We're going to recommend we seal those, because this line that runs down the screen behind the bonnet and underneath the scuttle is a join line, and they sometimes leak along the join. So we're going to recommend that they're done. While we're doing it we get the scuttle off and re-seal them anyway.
