BMW 520d with wash marks and swirl marks -- paintwork correction and multi-stage polish by James, then Matrix Blue 3-year ceramic. Alloy wheel coating stops brake dust bonding. James has the same coating on his own BMW.
This BMW 520d had picked up wash marks and swirl marks over time -- the inevitable result of repeated washing without the right technique. Dirt and grit work like fine abrasives on lacquer, and over time the paintwork loses its depth. James ran our full paintwork correction and multi-stage machine polish to address each scratch in detail, building back up to a mirror finish across the whole car.
Matrix Blue 3-year ceramic coating was applied by James -- who has the same coating on his own BMW, so when he says the customer will be smiling driving down the road, he is speaking from experience. The wheels were given a heat-resistant ceramic coating that prevents brake dust electrostatically bonding to the alloy -- probably the most practically useful benefit of any coating treatment, given how much time most car owners spend scrubbing wheels.
When a Matrix Blue coating begins to wear after its stated three years, it does not stop working at once -- the self-cleaning effect gradually softens. We have a top-up product that extends the life of the coating for those who want to maintain the benefit rather than starting fresh.
