Ford Mondeo 2010 Water | Rain Water Leak (part 1)

0:00 Ford Mondeo 2010 Water Leak Procedure doing. So there we go, we can see it's emptying out for a door, but if we look closely we can see water coming in through here, and so it looks like the door membrane is leaking on the passenger front. And it would then obviously fall onto this seal here, and then it would then feel, fall into the car. I've just popped this trim up so we can try and get a hand under to see obviously how wet it is under here. It doesn't feel that wet, but if I just put

1:00 my hand and give it a squeeze, so there we go, so we can see that there's water in the passenger front footwell. We're just going to dry my hand off again, and if we now come to the passenger rear, so we've got a nice dry hand here, we're going to go down underneath the carpet, and if I just give that a bit of a squeeze, so we can see that that carpet's damp. So it's wet on the front and the passenger rear. Coming round to the driver's side, this driver's rear door membrane is

1:38 leaking quite heavily as well, so we'll just obviously show you this one here. So we've put our water down, it's going to come out the bottom of the door, which it is doing, but if we look very closely, the door membrane's leaking quite heavily, so once again it'll fall onto the inner ledge and then it would then fall down into the carpet. So I've got a nice dry hand again, so if we come under here and give it a bit of a squeeze, a little

2:06 polystyrene and everything underneath as well. There we go, so we can see that it's wetting the driver's rear. And coming round to the driver's front, and if I can just stick my hand under here. Right, okay. So there we go, so we can see that it's wet under there as well. So we've got wetness in all four foot wells, as well as we've got water in the boot, and so we're just going to show you why there's water in the spare wheel and okay.
