This Mazda is showing the exact, same problem as on the last video with an MX5, which is that water leaks through the screws which attach the scuttle plate to the bodywork.
Water runs through the screw holes, straight through the bulkhead.
This car also has the issue of the seal around the centre brake light leaking, so water can pour through into the boot.
Both these issues can be solved with some sealant, and then we will dry the car. We would also suggest that the issue or rust be addressed, but that is usually beyond the scope of what we do.
Question: "What is Krytox and why should a get it from you?"
Answer: Krytox is a rubber and vinyl reviver, it puts the solvents back into your rubbers that evaporate over time. Old rubbers rarely crack, but they do lose their elasticity and tend to get squashed in place. This, coupled with dirt, means they no longer form a good seal and can cause leaks, especially on convertible cars like an MX5 which has its windows pressed up against rubber seals instead of holding the windows in door frames.
