Škoda Octavia | Sunroof Rain Water Leak

The main culprit for causing the wet carpet on this Bentley was a disconnected pipe for the sunroof drainage. It is fairly common on cars with sunroofs for the pipes to shrink with age, and as they shorten they pull off the connectors.

Unfortunately, this Fiat 500 came back to us for the third time with another leak. We had previously fixed the door membranes and the car came back with a leak in the same place.

This VW Tiguan had already been to a dealership and had the sunroof drainage flushed out, and a replacement screen fitted but the leaks persisted.

Unfortunately, we don't always get it right first time. When we find leaks, we fix them, then we test the car under a rain arch. But this doesn't reveal all leaks, which is why we say that the real world is the real test.

This Range Rover Evoque came to us with a wet carpet in the driver's foot-well. Although our testing showed the rear air vents were nearing the end of their life, the only leak on this Range Rover Evoque was from the factory-fitted windscreen.
