What I do now is I go round my diagnostic meter, just to show you how wet it is. You see, that's completely soaked there. I mean, if I take this off and actually fill it with your hand, you can feel how damp it is. What I'll do is I'll check all the footwells, because obviously if you've got a leak in the back and the front
3:07 or the back or the front, water can travel throughout the vehicle depending on how you park the car, how you drive it, how you leave it to work, anything like that. So you may have a leak in the front but the back is wet. What I'll do is I'll check this side as well.

Basically you can see in there the sunroof pipe is actually attached, so it's going into that, the pipe going into the basin, and obviously that rim runs out under the wheel arch. But if we come around to the passenger side, your pine, so this is why it was so wet, it's not even attached. Yeah, like I was saying, you can
4:42 see the pipe's not actually attached to the basin, so no wonder it was so wet, because all the water's just gushing through. That's why you've got them water marks down there, it's just literally been gushing through into the carpet. I don't know how long that's been happening for, but you can see that one, it's not even connected. But if we go to the back as well, the back passenger, back driver sorry, and I get our endoscope out, you can see first of all just these air vents are leaking heavily. You can see how much water they're letting
5:11 through. They're not actually meant to let any water through, so you can see how bad that is. And obviously that will then drip down and make its way into the boot wheel, which then can run forward through the car. Then if I get our endoscope, you can see this pipe just barely touching, it's literally just barely on there. You can see the water around it from where it's been sort of coming out the sides, but you can see that pipe is literally just on the limit. So I mean, it's a note, it's
5:34 a common thing on these Volkswagen's that their pipes are too small. So it's not as though they've done that from the factory, that's just happened over time, that's literally just slipped out and then come out. But these parts of the tour has been too short, so they just pop out at any time. And the good thing is you bought it to us in a good amount of time, you've not got no mould or nothing like that, so that's good. But yeah, what I was saying was, we'll
5:59 have to take out these pipes, we'd do our own. We've got our own sunroof pipes and they are brilliant, they're better quality, more robust, better fitting. So yeah, what we'll have to do is, in order to actually change the pipes we'll have to take the scuttle area off, because it comes out underneath the scuttle and then comes out through the wheel arch under here. So we'll have to take the scuttle off, then adjust them, make sure they're working nice and good, and then what we do is we flush them, test them up, make sure they're all working brilliantly.
6:27 Only thing is with these air vents, we've got to take the rear lights off to get the bumper off, so obviously the air vents are located here and in order to actually get this bumper off we've got to take the rear lights off. When we do that, what we do is we seal the rear lights up, even though they're not leaking we will seal them up, which is part of our procedure, so that way it's all nice and water tight.
6:45 But yeah, what we do is we have to order new air vents, get them in, and then obviously when we get them in, we put a nice sealant around and make sure they're nice and tight, make sure the water tight, and then what we do is put the lights on as well, make sure they're all sealed up.
6:57 But I mean, apart from that, all door members are working good, your rubbers are working fine, like all the door rubbers are on good. Like I said, the rear lights are working, but it's just, we can't get them air vents out unless we take the rear lights off, because there's a little clip under here. So you can't just pop the lights out, you've got to take the bumper off first.
7:16 What else on this one is in regards to drying, because it's so wet that side, and it's damp this side. There are some wet spots this side, but we'll have to take off all the teats, take off all the trim. That way we can actually get underneath the underlay and then suspend it in the air, so that way there's no sort of contact on the ground or on the body of the car, because otherwise you won't be able to get rid of the water.
7:35 So what we'll do is we suck as much water out as we can, and then we'll get our dry machines in there. This one's gonna need two nights minimum. I recommend free, I think it's gonna be free. I'll have to check my colleagues, but because it's so wet that side, it's gonna need a lot of drying out, so obviously you've got to do both.

And this one here, the passenger side wing mirror, what we say, we recommend you go to a Volkswagen garage, just because there's all electrical wires in here and stuff like that, so we don't really want to mess with that.

Getting the scuttle up, order the parts for the air vents, and ordered the front tow bar, so yeah, they're all coming. But yeah, cracking on with it, so get in there. Right, so just got the VW Tiguan going under a rain arch test at the moment. As you can see, it's simulating a heavy rainfall. It's all that, it's fix is done right now, so just sort of at the last bit of the

But you can see it's nice clean as well, all the rims have been cleaned, all the bodywork has been cleaned, it's looking nice and shiny. So this one's almost at the end of it, at the end of our testing, so we'll get her out of the rain arch and then we'll see if she'll dry.
