This was a tricky leak to find the source of, but using our cameras, we were able to trace it back to a grommet behind the front wings.
There was water in both front footwells, but it wasn't obvious where the water was coming from, as it turned out it was leaking from inside the front wings into a box section and filling up the floor pans from underneath, soaking the carpets from the bottom. Once we got the wings off, the culprit was easy to spot and easy to fix.
Solution: We will reseal these grommets, making them waterproof. The carpets are very thick in this Jaguar, and they won't dry out on their own. So with the leak fixed, we will put the car through our drying procedure and decontaminate the vehicle so that it is returned to the customer dry and free from bacteria, mould and mildew.
