This car had been to several garages before coming to us, so we had to be very thorough to find the difficult leaks.
The door rubbers were leaking, and we also found the windscreen wasn't water-tight and could be the cause of a leak. There were several other areas which we recommended sealing even though they weren't currently leaking.
This was a replacement screen, so there was a chance that it hadn't sealed properly when it was refitted. However, we also found evidence of bodywork at the front of the car as a grommet had been sprayed over, this could be an indication that when the car had been stressed during a crash, some of the sealants over the welds around the windows had cracked. So the car may have been leaking from the welds hidden under the screen. Either way the screen has to come out for us to investigate. Once the windscreen was removed, we cleaned all up, resealed and the windscreen refitted.
