In this video, we see the customer explain where he suspects the leaks on his car are coming from and where he has found water.
Upon inspection, we found the sunroof drainage pipes to be blocked, but we also found additional problems such as the sealant on the welds around the rear tailgate to be cracked and letting in water. The rear air vents were leaking and needed to be replaced, as well as numerous bumper and roof rail fittings letting in water.
Solution: The sunroof pipes were unblocked -- they often collect leaf debris, which collects at the bottom of the pipes. It is just a matter of flushing them through.
The sealant on the welds around the tailgate is chiselled away and replaced with fresh automotive sealant.
The bumpers and roof rails were removed, dirt and debris was removed, and all clips were replaced with new ones along with their waterproof seals. The rear vents were also replaced.
